This statue is located beside the statue of Yakushinyorai, the main object of worhip of this temple and made in last stage of Kamakura period. According to the temple, this statue was moved by Kakuno priest from Yoshino and it is known that there were two main objects of worship in the temple.

Head and body parts were engraved from one piece of Hinoki tree and Uchiguri was not done at all. The piece of eleven faces is separated and would be put into the head part.

Eyes are engraved and face is rather flat. Chest and Waist are thick enough. The piece of eleven faces and hands were repaired later, but some parts are original one. The lotus flower stage was made with one piece. Most colouring has been peeled off, but there are some parts of original colouring.

Face and body parts are well-maintained and it is a well-balanced statue. It is quite similar to the statue of Senjyukannon which kept in Isokuji in Ooi town, thus, this statue might have been also made in this province.
