Ten means the gods which were originally described in Ancient Indian Legends and become the protector of Buddhism because of the Buddha.

These twelve Ten are eight directions(east: Taisyakuten, southeast: Katen, south: Enmaten, southwest: Rasetsuten, west: Suiten, northwest: Futen, north: Bishamonten, northeast: Isyanaten) and the sky(Bonten), the earth(Chiten), the sun(Nitten), the moon(Getten). These are quite important for esoteric Buddhism.

These twelve ten are usually made for National peace and recover from an illness. There are drawings of Jyunitenzo used for Goshichinichimisyuhou in Shingonin and folding screens of Jyunitenzo.

The design are divided into two patterns, one is seated gods which can be seen the hanging scroll of Touji or Ryokai Mandala, another is standing which can be seen the folding screen of Touji. These drawings are belonging to the later design, but there are some differences between these drawings and the one of Touji.

These are 100.7cm long and 39.0cm wide. Now these are kept as the folding screens.

The drawings which kept in Hagaji such as Ryokai Mandala, Godaijmyoo, Jyunitenzo and Kobo the holy priest are the precious data.
