Seiunzan Ryusenji is a branch temple of Yougonji (Tsuruga city) Soutou-mission and located on Shinbo in Obama city. A wooden seated statue of Seikannonbosatsu is the object of worship. It is said that it was founded in Tenbun 10(1541) by Nobutaka Takeda, the lord of Kasumigajyou castle.

It is Daikoubunsei Zen-priest who was invited to open the temple. He was belong to Eihei temple Meiho-group, thus this temple was belong to Soutou-mission from the first.

According the notice of drawing, it says that he passed away on August 28th in Tensho 4(1576) and also says that this drawing had been painted before he died.

It is 74.9cm long and 37.9cm wide. He sits on Shoza, wearing Daie and Kesa, having Nenjyu in left hand and Hossu in right hand. Lines are rather thin, face and cloths looks quite flat because it is a drawing. However, it describes him very well and we can see his personality, kind and elegant.

About the notice, it was written by Youyu Eiho in Bunroku 3(1594), 19years after he died. It is also written that Youyu was the son of Nobutaka, thus he would be able to write the notice.
