Climbing about 100m beside the Kokita River in front of Kamo shrine, it will be clear view and there is a narrow road ahead to a mountain. Reaching to the top of the mountain, there is a Kannon hall as the main hall of Iseiji.

This statue used to be located in the Kannon hall, but it is now located in the concreted storehouse behind the main hall.

It is made with one piece of Hinoki tree and 108.5cm in height. Even the chest and the waist are thick enough, but the waist is quite tightened.

The decoration of cloths are engraved like large waves and small waves, which is common in Heian period(9 century), and there is also decorated whirlpools. It is presumed to be made in early of 9 century.

The 6 faces on the head and half of thousand hands are original parts and there is original lotus stage kept in other place. Zushi which keeps the wooden statue of Senjyukannonbosatsu inside is made with Hinoki tree.

According to the Jyakusyukannaisyajiyuiki, it is written that:
The statue was engraved by Denkyo-taishi. It was located on the top of the mountain, but it was suffered from snow and the hall was built in the valley.
