The original statue of Fudomyoo was suffered from the fire in Meiji 5(1872), this statue was moved from Hagaji.

This is 161.8cm in height, one piece of Hinoki tree, and presumed to be made in Heian era.

In the end of Heian era, the form of Fudomyoo was settled. Eyes are both opened widely in the statue of early days, but the eye of this statue is opened slightly, so called "Tenchigan", two tusks are biting the lip alternately with the upper and lower sides. Having a sword in right hand and Kensaku in left hand is settled form. The decoration of cloths is also calm. It is the typical style of Heian era.

The statue of Fudomyoo in Ensyouji is formed old style, the head was facing rather left side and it steps forward on left foot, but this statue is quite polite as it faces straight forward which is common style of end of Heian period.
