According to the temple, it is the three statues of Yakushinyorai, Kousanzemyoo and Jinjyadaisyo which an old man told Tamuramaro Sakanoue, the generalissimo Shogun, to engrave the statues with an old tree of Yuduri during he stayed in Hokuriku at the beginning of Heian period. However, the temple has been suffered from fire for three times and also lost everything, thus this statue was made later.

It is 144.5cm in height, and has rather big Rahotsu in head. Eyes are strongly opened, unlike a refined statue of Buddha, the decoration of cloths are engraved deeply.

It is considered to be made between in end of Heian era and in beginning of Kamakura period.
