It is said that Yukinao Fujiwara dedicated this paper to Wakasaichinomiya shrine. There used to be a houshouan(one of the Kokubunji, it is also called as Uenodoato), and this paper was transferred from Uenodo to Housyouan and finally to storehouse beside Jizodo in Nakamura area.

The paper of Daihannyakyo in Onyu area doesn't have any notices, but in this paper, there are notices in 40 rolls out of 300 rolls and most of them are mentioned the name of Yukinao Fujiwara, and also a name of Shigekiyo Saeki and year of Bunchi 1st(1185) are mentioned in roll No.441 and others. It is written that Katahiro Nashi finished coping on August 15th in Meitoku 2(1391) in roll No.73, and that this is copied in Asahidera in Totoumi province on August 15th in Syogen 3(1209). Thus, it is clear that these papers had been copied between in Bunji 1st(1185) and in Meitoku 2nd(1391), during 206 years. Writers were people who mentioned above and totally 9 people, Genshin, Bunchi, Kakujyun, Hibidoutetsu, Ensyugyoutoku, Syamongaikai and so on.

These were not copied in chronological order, but it is clear that it was written in Kamakura period and become separated once and got together again. It is 24cm long and 8.5m wide using 17 papers. It is also contrastive that Daihannyakyo of the Kamakura period was handed down by Nakamura-ku, and it is a precious roll of sutras.
