The Nio gate of Jinguji

This 8 pillars gate used to be the north gate when the temple had 7 halls and 25 buildings long time ago.

It is a quite simple gate, single roof, Kiridumadukuri, 6.37m wide and 3.64m deep and 5.5m in height.

It is a superior gate as building of end of Kamakura period and there are many feature of Kamakura period. Minotsuka is a very few sample for these days' building and it should be one of the leading of age. Decorations are also typical feature of Kamakura period.

There are two wooden statues of Kongourikishi, Mitsusyaku and Naraen,in both side. These were 2.1m in height and made in Shitoku 2(1385).
