It is the hidden wooden statue of Jyuichimenkannonbosatsu which had been never opened recently as reported Nikkobosatsu, located in the Yakushinyorai hall in Tadaji.

Nikkobosatsu and Gekkobosatsu are the server of Yakushinyorai, but its appearance are not formed except having a ring of sun for Nikkobosatsu and a ring of moon for Gekkobosatsu.

This statue is an example having eleven faces at head and is said that it is Nikkobosatsu.

It is an engraved statue from one tree, 162 cm in height and 154 cm in height from a stage to top.

Its form is quite similar to Yakushinyorai at the main hall, slightly smiled eyes and mouth.

However, it is an older style than Yakushinyorai and presumed to be made in 8 or 9 century at the begging of Heian period, as a decoration of clothes, word of "U", are on line.
