The event of matsuage is a folk customs event of upper and middle reaches
of Minami-river that contains the kuchinata district, the nakanata district
in Obama City, and a part of ooi-town (old Natasho-son), and "matsuage"
has been done from the end of August to the beginning of September as an
event of each village in the kuchinata district and the nakanata district.
