The silk knit a little roughly is used, and drawn RyoukaiMandara figure
of Taizoukai and Kongoukai respectively one by one. In the tone and the
material, it is originally considered that it was a couple. A traditional
process of the buddhist picture ,that is, the rough sketch is basically
described to various budda in drawing and it according to making it more
attractive and the procedure of finishing it up (drawing causing), and
cut gold leaf (kirikane) pattern is treated if necessary by the background.
Taizoukai makes only the main budda image such as Senjukannon in the left end of Tyuudai-hachiyouin various budda and Kokuuzouin in the center part a gold paint body, and most other various budda is shown in a white flesh color.
Kongoukai is a usual composition that consists of nine parts. Here is
assumed all various budda to be a white flesh color, drawn in the red tea
line, and caused. It is polite in the technique as the limiting circle
of various places and the circle of light in the moon circle and the back
of various budda are shown in the cut gold leaf line though the pattern
of the background is a cut gold leaf.
It is judged the example of the 15th century in the middle of the Muromachi age from the silk cloth and writing style.
