This temple is located on the site of Wakasa Kokubunji and there are ruins of Kondo and other towers here and the precinct of the temple is registered as National Cultural Property. There are writings about the re-building of Kokubunji kept in Myotsuji. It is considered that it would be built in Houei 2(1705), according to the writings and the style of Shaka hall.

It is 12.17m wide and 10.96m deep and Irimoyadukuri and thatched roofs (the roofs are now covered with iron plates.). The pillars are all cylinders. There are Reido in front of Inner hall and eaves surround all. This building was strongly influenced of esoteric Buddhism system temple Hondo medieval times, and it is the excellent building which has often told the old style to the whole.
