The Big tree of Nagi is the registered as Natural property of Fukui prefecture in the forest of Kurokoma shrine which many broadleaf trees place mainly.
There are Sudajii placed in the forest behind the shrine. These are 15 to 18m in height, not so tall.
There are Nezumimochi, Shirodamo, Yabutsubaki, and Sakaki tree 5m to 6m above. Especially, Sakaki trees are noticeable. There are Benishida, Hosobakanawarabi and Shishigashira on ground. And there are also Fuyuichigo, Aoki, Hosobajyunenoki, Yabutsubaki and Nagi. Other place of the precincts of the shrine, there are zelkova trees, Mochinoki, cedar trees, Tabunoki, Sudajii.
This forest is precious because it has the typical forest of Wakasa province.
