These portraits are 28cm long and 21.8cm wide. There are the frames on top and bottom, 3.6cm wide, with silver and the portraits were put in the circle, and the diameter is 18cm.
These were Chinese style portrait drawn with ink and colouring. The artist is unknown.
Nijyuuhasso are the holy priests who had kept the thoughts of Daruma, the twenty-eight generations from Buddha, as the origin. These portraits were transferred by Jikusen Bonsen and he gave them to Dainen priest.
Dainen priest was the apprentice of Bonsen and there is the certificate registered as the cultural property. And the clothes which Bonsen wore were also kept in the temple.
