Nyohokyo means to copy the Kyo to Nyoho, copying the Hokkekyo or Hokke sanbukyo and dedicate to a mountain or graves. In Japan, this was transferred by Enji Jikaku holy priest in Tencyo 10(833).

The Kishinsatsu kept in Myotsuji temple is the oldest which shows the donated area of prohibition of hunting and fishing and it was written in Enkei 2(1309). Most of them were made in Kamakura period and Muromachi period, some of them were made in Edo period. It was written that the amount of rice and money, for who to pray.

There are some style of the shape of panels as time passed. Many of them were written by Sumi, but some of them were coloured, or engraved. These are quite valuable because of the huge amount and the long history.

The total amount of Kishinsatsu are 555 pieces and 70 pieces are broken. About the time period, there is width at the age for about 390 years in Myotsuji temple between Enkei 2(1309) to Genroku 7(1694), there is width at the age for about 250 years in Hagaji between Seiwa 5(1316) to Eiroku 8(1565), there is width at the age for about 90 years in Myorakuji temple between Kasho 5(1464) to Tenbun 22(1553), there is width at the age for about 60 years in Hanjyoji between Bunmei 16(1484) to Tenbun 13(1544).
