There is a Yakushi hall left side of the main hall, these statues are located both side of the wooden seated statue of Yakushinyorai, the main statue and the city cultural property. The statue of Shakanyorai is left side of the main statue, and the statue of Amidanyorai is right side of the main statue as if these are server of the Yakushinyorai.
However, normally, the servers of Yakushi are Nikko and Gekko and Shaka has Monjyu and Fugen as the server, Amida has Kannon and Shisei as the servers. Thus, there is no Yakushinyorai which has Shaka and Amida as the server. Thus, it is presumed that these statues of Shakanyorai and Amidanyorai had been moved from collapsed temples.
Statues is made with Hinoki tree and plump body and natural decoration of cloths shows the feature of Kamakura period.
The statue of Amidanyorai is 86cm in height and has a sign of Raigeiin and there is the same repairing notice as the one of Shakanyorai.
Statues was repaired in Genroku 6(1693) according to the notice.
