Line is a main of the event, there is Fubusyoto in Kojiki and Tenshinsyukujinodaisyukujigoto
in Engishiki.
This roll is contained of 7 papers, 30.1cm long, 339.6cm wide. The first page is made with Kogecyajikabuntanshi(the end of Edo period), top title is Syotoshidai and second titles start Jyogeguonmatsurisyoto to Santoshinshidai, totally 14 Syoto and Shidai in this roll. Writing style is Senmeitaifu and Katakana, Kaeriten and Syukuten are used and Boukun(pronunciation; how to read) is also written. The contents are the will which Wakasakokushi and public servants pray for and a festival of the shrine, and so on. It tells the story of Shinji in Wakasa province. There is the sentence of festival in Kencho 7(1255), the one which Kokushi prayed in Kenreki 2(1212) in the roll and the year of Kangen 2(1303) in the back of the roll shows the time when it was gathered and copied.
These Syukuji was transferred in Engishiki(905〜927), but the oldest
Syukuji which kept was written in Kamakura period. Thus, this Syotoshidai
is the oldest one in Fukui prefecture of course and a few example in Japan
also.
